  • What is the ideal value of the entry vector to a Dolly POI (Docking) and to the charging station?  2.6 m. This distance is required for a successful completion of the detection process
  • What is the ideal value of the exit vector ? 1.5m - 4m (Depending on the use case and on the surrounding environment)
  • When 'Close to wall' should be used ? Distance to wall less than 15 cm
  • Same side vectors ?  Entry&Exit from the same side

 

How to create a new POI ?
 
To create a new POI, the following actions must be performed::
 

1) Open your AnyFleet environment

2) On the AnyFleet landing page, click on the map you want to edit to open the AnyFleet map page

3) Click on 'Edit Map' on the left panel

4) Under 'Edit Map', select 'Points of interests'

5) Click on the POI you want to add to the map and place it on the desired position

(Alternative: drive the iw.hub to the desired POI position and then in the 'Localize to Robot' Section, select the robot you have used )

6) Give a name to the new POI

7) Enter the following parameters:

  • Entry Vector (Please refer to AnyFleet Vocabulary)
  • Exit Vector
  • Orientation

8) Activate the 'Close to Wall' functionality if the new POI is less than 15 cm

9) Deactivate the 'Same Side Vectors' functionality if you want the iw.hub to enter from one side and to exit from the other

10) Click 'Save Properties' to confirm your choice
