How to free a PoI ?
FAQ:
- When do we need to a free a PoI?
-> When the robot is driven manually out of a PoI.
-> a PoI is physically not occupied, appears as occupied on Anyfleet, blocking the fleet to use the PoI in question. Please take into consideration that the PoI will appear as occupied as soon as the mission is assigned.
- For which PoI can we use this feature?
-> Charging Station & Parking
- Where to find the 'free' button?
-> On your map, select the PoI you want to free. The 'free' button is on the bottom of the left pane.
Working Instructions:
1) Open your AnyFleet environment.
2) On the AnyFleet home/ main page, click on the map where the PoI to be freed is located.
3) On the map, click on the PoI you have to free.
4) On the bottom of the left pane, click on 'free'.
When does a robot occupy a PoI?
- Anyfleet will give the robot automatic assignment for parking and charging orders. These orders will virtually occupy a PoI (Charging station, Parking...) and prevent other robots from accessing the PoI.
- If the robot is already on a PoI and a task is triggered, Anyfleet will set the status of the PoI as unoccupied. This means that only automatically generated tasks affect the occupancy status of a PoI.
- While maintenance mode is active, and during manually defined actions triggered by the user (driving with a joystick, sending tasks via AnyFleet) the status of the PoI will not be affected. The aforementioned status applies to occupied and unoccupied PoIs.
- Manually altering this status is only possible by adjusting the status in Anyfleet (by freeing the POI in the margin on the left) or localizing the Robot on a different PoI.
Note: Any changes on the map, when it comes to occupancy, will not show directly unless the user refreshes the page.
