How to send Instructions/ Actions ?

 

FAQ:

  • What actions are only possible in the maintenance mode?

->  Assign to Map. (Please refer to Connect to the Cloud (Onboarding to AnyFleet))

->  Send Instructions/Actions

  • When is the 'Send Instructions/Actions' feature to be used?

-> Testing/Maintenance purposes

-> To execute the last step of an abort task

  • When is the 'Send a Mission' feature to be used ?

-> Testing/ maintenance purposes

-> To send a specific mission to a specific robot (testing)

  • Note: The maintenance mode must be activated

 

Working instructions :

 

Send Instructions/Actions

1) Open the AnyFleet Environment

2) From the AnyFleet startpage, select the right map

3) Click on 'Devices' on the upper menu bar to open the  'Device List' Page .

4) Select the correct iw.hub

5) Activate the maintenance mode

6) From the top-down list in the 'Send Instructions/Actions' select the target PoI

7) From the displayed 'Actions/Instructions' select the one you want it to be executed once the iw.hub reached the target PoI

8) Click 'send' to execute the given instruction

Note:

  • If there is no instruction given, the iw.hub will just drive to the selected PoI
  • If the USB dongle (F710 logitech) is plugged, the 'RB' Button must be permanently pressed so that the iw.hub drives to the target PoI and executes the desired instruction/action

Example:

Send the iw.hub to the charging station and start the charging process

  • From the top-down list, select 'Charging station/ Ladestation' ( or the name you have assigned to the charging station on AnyFleet)
  • Click on 'Charge Battery +'
  • Click on 'send'

 

 

Send a Mission:

1) Open AnyFleet environment

2) From the AnyFleet start-page, select the right map

3) Click on 'Devices' on the upper menu bar to open the  'Device List' Page .

4) Select the right iw.hub

5) Activate the maintenance mode

6) From the top-down list in the 'Send a Mission' select the mission to be executed (all created missions are to be found in this list)

7) Click on 'drive' to send the mission to the iw.hub

 

Notes:

  • If the USB dongle (F710 logitech) is plugged, the 'RB' Button must be permanently pressed so that the iw.hub drives to the target PoI and executes the desired instruction/action.
  • The missions that are triggered through the 'Send a Mission' feature in the Maintenance mode, are not logged in the reporting section (Stats Monitoring) of AnyFleet
  • Deactivate the maintenance mode once you are done with testing:
    • Click on 'Active'

 

  •  Click on 'confirm'
